About Trading Analysis Lab

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Purpose

Trading Analysis Lab provides educational calculators and market reference tools for traders, investors, and learners. The site is designed to help users test assumptions, compare possible ranges, and understand calculation logic before checking official or professional sources for real decisions.

Monte Carlo Trading Calculator

The Monte Carlo Trading Calculator simulates many possible trading paths from user inputs such as win rate, risk/reward ratio, loss size, fees, trade count, and starting capital. It is useful for exploring uncertainty, drawdown, and losing-streak risk, but it does not predict a strategy's future performance.

Compound Calculator

The Compound Calculator estimates how a starting amount may change over repeated compounding periods. It shows projected growth and a step table from the inputs you provide, but the result is a mathematical scenario rather than a promised return.

Currency Converter

The Currency Converter uses reference exchange-rate data to estimate conversions between major currencies. It is intended for quick comparison and formula transparency; actual bank, card, exchange-office, broker, or remittance rates can differ because of spreads, fees, timing, and provider rules.

Commodity Prices

The Commodity Prices tool provides reference prices for WTI crude oil, Brent crude oil, natural gas, gold, and silver, along with conversion into selected currencies. Commodity data can have per-asset dates, so one asset may show a newer or older data date than another.

Methodology and data principles

  • Calculators use user inputs, visible formulas, and simplified assumptions so the calculation basis can be reviewed.
  • Currency and commodity tools use reference data that may differ from live exchange, broker, bank, card, or official settlement data.
  • Provider updates, market holidays, rate limits, and data delays can affect displayed dates and availability.
  • Important prices, rates, and assumptions should be verified with official, broker, bank, exchange, or professional sources before real transactions.

Limitations

Trading Analysis Lab is not a trading signal service, financial advisor, investment advisor, tax advisor, legal advisor, broker, exchange, or official market data vendor. The site does not guarantee accuracy, availability, profitability, or future outcomes.
